Well yesterday we went to some feeding kitchens and passed out food bags. It was such an amazing experience. We got to ride in the back of a flat bed truck on bumpy roads, pass out the plates and candy to the kids, and then take pictures of the kids while seeing them laugh and smile. It touched my heart to have those kids come and hug me even though they didn't know me.
After we came back to the mission, we got a surprise from our little boy, Rene. He came with some friends from his school and ended up coming with our group to go and tour the schools that the mission had built for the kids to go to.
While we were there, Rene and I kept trying to communicate, but he kept telling me my spanish was bad...lol, I agreed though. When the group went to tour the dorms, Rene and I stayed outside and laughed while trying to talk. He is such a blessing in my life! I am so glad he is ours! He is the most amazing little boy in the world! I am blessed and honored to be called his hermana!

Today we went to Nicaragua and it was a blessing to see God's amazing work there! All the churches we saw were so beautiful on the inside and out. The congregations at the churches were so grateful and sweet. They were so excited that we came! They made us feel blessed beyond measure! We got to see people who loved the Lord with all their hearts while caring for everyone and their churches! We also got to see an old friend named Freddie while we were at the Nicaraguan border. He was waiting till he had to go to school that afternoon so we were able to talk to him while out passports were getting checked.
I love Honduras and the amazing feeling I get when I see the people and children that surround me.....They are such a huge blessing in my life and I am truly honored and blessed to be here!
